Project Objective

Providing to specialists of Department of providing and control of transactions in financial markets (DOKOFR) of the Bank of Russia of the powerful and convenient tool for operational placement and an information access arriving from different sources, and its analysis was a project objective.

Project progress

Development and deployment of the portal (2004-2009)

The project started in 2004. The model of future system on Oracle Portal became result of the carried-out research work in the field of use of portal technologies for creation of SPPR.

During 2005-2009 specialists of Custis company developed and in parallel implemented the portal, making changes in the small portions. At this time actively functionality of SPPR, both for end users, and for IT specialists of DOKOFR of the Bank of Russia providing its information filling extended.

The portal was integrated with a large number of business applications which are operated in DOKOFR, and complemented with the new methods of information display convenient for users.

Development and upgrade of a system (since 2009 till present)

By 2009 development of basic portal technologies of Oracle made possible upgrade of SPPR. We carried out research work and studied questions of migration of the existing Decision making support system on the advanced technologies provided by the platform for deployment of the Oracle WebCenter Suite corporate portals. The model of the new version of the portal was as a result created.

Key differences of the new model became:

• new system architecture;
• modern ergonomic design;
• the updated structure of the portal;
• additional services.

In 2010 works on implementation of the Oracle WebCenter platform were begun. Integration of one of new services WebCenter Suite with SPPR was the first solved task.

In 2010-2011 SPPR was integrated with the centralized storage of documents based on the Oracle Content Database software product providing storage, access and search in data of storage.

Works on migration of a system on a new technology platform, to development of functionality according to current demands, to expansion of structure of data sources and integration into other applications functioning at the customer are continued.

Description of result

SPPR provides the interface of the corporate portal including a broad range of information portlets, service of the publication of information, storage of documents and interfaces of access to web applications with which integration is carried out. It allows the staff of DOKOFR of the Bank of Russia to get the centralized access to all necessary information.

For differentiation of access rights of users to data of a system the convenient tools based on Oracle Identity Management allowing to define access rights up to the level of portlets that gives the chance most flexibly to manage the rights are provided.
