After transition to 1C to PERGAMUM companies accounting and personnel records became simpler
Specialists of "1C Architect of business" helped PERGAMUM company, the resident Skolkovo, to pass to "1C: Accounting 8 CORP" and to integrate it with the system of personnel records. Now in the company regulated accounting and payroll calculation is completely automated, it became simpler to employees to prepare the reporting: labor costs on preparation of separate report types were cut by half. In total 10 jobs were automated.
The PERGAMUM (JSC Pergamum Engineering) company delivers the industrial diagnostic equipment of a premium class, production of devices of non-destructive testing. The company was founded in 1996, now in its structure 13 branches work worldwide, the state totals 135 employees.
In "1C Architect of business" the company management PERGAMUM asked for the help in transfer of a system of accounting to the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. The program which was used in the company several last years did not meet the modern requirements of automation any more. Accountants lacked functionality: a part of the calculations necessary for preparation of the reporting, it was necessary to make manually that led to additional labor costs.
Besides, transfer of accounting to the platform of 1C allowed the management of the enterprise to resolve also an issue with payroll calculation automation. In the company for personnel records the "1C: Payroll and Personnel management 8" system was already used by this time, but for full automation of the calculations connected with charge and salary payment it was required to configure full data exchange with the accounting program. With the old system of accounting working at other platform and differing in insufficient functionality to configure such integration it was impracticable.
The management of the enterprise selected company "1C Architect of business" as the partner in automation after the tender. The most acceptable commercial offer and high speed of reaction of specialists of "1C Architect of business" to the customer's requests became decisive factors.
As in the previous system there was no regular unloading of data in 1C, specialists of "1C Architect of business" created special processing which could correlate logic of storage of analytics in the old program and in solutions of 1C that without errors to transfer data to new information base according to the analytical cuts admitted to 1C.
At the same time transfer consisted of two parts: in "1C: Accounting 8 CORP" from the old system of accounting data on a remaining balance for the beginning of year, and were transferred to "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" where after integration of solutions it had to be performed, except personnel records, and payroll calculation — all base of calculation of average earnings for all staff of the company in the last two years. This part of transfer was especially problematic as in an old system the base of average earnings was stored in a specific view with the special settings. "1C: Payroll and HR Management" at data transfer had to "understand" all these features (which of employees receives a salary, and who – a salary with an award by what types of calculation the payroll to this or that employee was accrued and during what time frame) that calculation of average earnings continued in new reporting period without errors.
Specialists of "1C Architect of business" performed several test transfers, every time carefully verifying data to exclude the probability of distortion of information. The revealed errors were analyzed and improved. Having completed transfer, specialists configured data exchange between solutions of 1C, taught personnel of PERGAMUM company to work in a new system. In total 10 jobs were automated.
Staff of PERGAMUM company came to the next reporting period already with the updated accounting system. The personnel note convenience of work in programs of 1C. Thanks to advanced functionality and the new automated transactions accountant officers and HR department spend less time and forces on document flow, on calculations. Preparation of the reporting became simpler: if in an old system some report types demanded from accountants of commission of 10 actions, then in 1C — it is twice less.
