The Caucasian branch of MegaFon gained in a victory in competitive purchases for OFPS across Kabardino-Balkar Republic

The Caucasian branch of MegaFon won at the beginning of 2016 a victory in four competitive purchases on communication provision of services to Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service across Kabardino-Balkaria.

MegaFon organized convergent network for republican OFPS, having integrated possibilities of the fixed and mobile communication. It allows the staff of department to communicate conveniently with each other, using internal short numbering for calls both from mobile, and from stationary phones. The operator provided advantageous conditions of communication in the long-distance and international directions and also provided reliable Internet access on channels of fixed connection at a speed up to 10 Mbps.

September 10, 2015. The MegaFon company reported^[1] about sale of the convergent communication system for regional government of the Federal Penitentiary Service allowing department to use at the same time in work the fixed and mobile services and also short numbering.

History

MegaFon the old partner of OFPS in the territory of 14 regions in the North Caucasian, Southern and Central federal districts. The operator provides department with a voice communication, the mobile and fixed Internet access, m2m-solutions for remote control of office transport and project implementation of SEMPL on remote monitoring of location of convicts.

Project Progress

Within the new contract MegaFon integrated the existing mobile numbers of staff of republican OFPS into the departmental fixed telephone network for further service. Such opportunity is implemented using service "FMC Express set" which allows the staff of department to communicate with each other by short extensions. The principle of short numbering affects for calls as from the mobile number stationary departmental phones, and on the contrary. Thanks to such convenient technological solution the client receives advantageous conditions of tariffing of calls in corporate group a boundary subscribers both the mobile, and fixed communication networks.
