Koderlayn automated business processes in XPO Logistics company

September 18, 2015. XPO Logistics company together with Koderlayn company (firm-1C of the Franchisee) announced business process automation.

Goals and Objectives

Pick up the software product for control of a cargo flow and provide in it a possibility of accounting of goods to the addresses in a warehouse. It was required to develop and regulate a format for suppliers with information on a load (the consignee, number of a box, invoice information, veso-volume characteristics), to automate loading procedures of information on the arriving loads and orders on shipment and also to provide merchandising in a warehouse taking into account requirements of address storage.

Choosing a Solution

Jointly with specialists of Koderlayn the decision to select from quality of the 1C: Trade Management software product as the most suitable for the solution of an assigned task was made.

Project Progress

In particular, in UT an inventory control and address storage in a warehouse is implemented, the order scheme of merchandising is configured, there are all necessary reports which allow to control placement of goods in an address warehouse and to carry out the analysis of merchandising on the last period. Besides, this software product is developed for "cloud" placement, respectively, there is no need to purchase own server and to provide necessary system maintenance (backup, etc.).

The schedule of works was developed. Implementation took place within three months with full compliance with the budget, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"Ten years ago the budget of similar implementations made tens of thousands of dollars and months of works of the whole command. And now, if to use standard solution 1C, we have completely standard implementation: it is a little integration, it is a little consultation. And at the same time implementation of an address warehouse in a lot of implementations of UT – an example still pretty rare. It was more interesting to that to find similar experience in practice", – the project manager from Koderlayn Pavel Pchelintsev noted.
