"Gazprom Transgaz Belarus" completed implementation of TORO from SAP

On September 21, 2015 the IBA Group company announced completion of works on implementation of a management information system of the enterprise on the platform of system module SAP TOPO in Gazprom Transgaz Belarus (GTB) company^[1].

Project Progress

Specialists of the IT company provided training more than 2 thousand employees "Gazprom Transgaz Belarus" operation of the new module that, on a response of the customer, allowed to bring quickly the module TORO into operation in 17 structural divisions and administration of GTB.

Pavel Voytov, the chief engineer "Gazprom Transgaz Belarus", said: "The IBA TOPO command managed to automate basic processes of maintenance and repair of the equipment which cornerstone the standard functionality of SAP TOPO is in a short time".

According to him, as a result of project implementation the maintaining base of all equipment of GTB provided with consistency and accuracy of the data became possible.

Action "Gazprom Transgaz Belarus", (2016)

the Electronic document management system "Gazprom Transgaz Belarus" regarding TORO was brought into commercial operation at the same time in 17 branches and administration of the enterprise according to the terms set by the project plan. Today in a system more than 200 users work, increase to 800 is planned. Project implementation based on the modern software of SAP and OpenText allowed to reduce search time of necessary information by 5 times and to simplify process of control of its relevance. It became possible owing to creation of accurate hierarchy of documentation, control of its placement in strictly certain places and exceptions of duplication of operational documents and also at the expense of the modern software allowing to analyze contents of the scanned documents and to provide Web access to services. Timely updating of operational documentation of the equipment allows to support constantly it in operating state therefore reliability and security of technology objects of transportation and a gas storage increased by 4%.

As a result of system implementation the efficiency of planning and management of accomplishment of actions of TORO at the enterprise increased. System implementation helped to optimize the schedule of works and terms of their accomplishment by means of the procedure of planned orders taking into account possible adjustments, to automate the analysis of planned and actual costs on own and third-party works, materials and services, to automate the code of forms of the procedural reporting of TORO.
