FlyElephant the Platform for scientific calculations and data management

FlyElephant is the platform for scientific calculations and data management. In the uniform place different computing resources (multicore systems, HPC and GPU of a cluster), programs, templates, algorithms and data which users can combine for fast and effective solution of the computing tasks are available. Users can also work jointly on projects, monitor changes in results of calculations and publish the received solutions as public or private cloud services.

For September, 2015 the platform is started in the test mode and allows to execute the computing programs written on S/s ++ with support of OpenMP on servers with quantity of cores from 1 to 32 and OZU to 448 GB and also to work with data in storage, to browse and load calculation results.

The service is intended to fulfill the tasks for scientific calculations, data analysis, rendering and others that require high computing power. Users can access catalogs of specialized software, templates, algorithms and computing resources, that can effectively carry out the tasks, to save time for the launch and creation of computing programs. Users can publish the solution of problems as a public or private cloud services and interact with them through the API, and also be part of the community in order to share knowledge and collaborate on projects.
