Tonar-opt Barnaul (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse (1C: WMS))

The 1C: WMS system allowed to perform full automation of technology processes in a warehouse of Tonar Group and also to provide an ability to manage with a warehouse in real time.

The group has extensive production. The management of the enterprise regularly takes steps for expansion of production areas, updating of the equipment and also increase in management efficiency. Automation system implementation in a warehouse of Tonar Group pursued the aims of optimization of work of personnel and reduction of quantity of the lost goods.

Among the software products presented at the market for automation of a warehouse the management of Tonar Group stopped the choice on the solution "1C: WMS" which was credible a large number of clients. For system implementation specialists of AXELOT company, the 1C: WMS developer were invited.

Tonar Group possesses the warehouse of class "B" located in Barnaul. It is one big warm premises with a total area of 2000 sq.m. with the mezzanine and two gate of acceptance and shipment. The quantity of active positions of goods in a warehouse reaches 20,000. Account of goods is kept by articles, cells, storage units (a box, packaging, piece) and qualities (standard, defects).

During the project processes of goods acceptance on a warehouse are automated and optimized under needs of the client. At acceptance piece scanning of goods is made, the total quantity of goods in the accepted container is considered, and the goods are divided into categories on quality. Process of preliminary acceptance of containers on a warehouse and cross docking is also configured. For work with WMS 20 radio data collection terminals are connected; 10 stationary jobs are in addition automated.

Placement of goods in store cells is performed using transit zones. Both containers entirely, and the storages "investigated" on units are placed. Selection processes, packagings, shipments and movements of goods on a warehouse are automated. The possibility of carrying out fast and exact inventory of containers and separate units of storage is implemented. All changes in goods quality are considered in a system, processes of a complete set of goods are controlled.

At the request of the customer according to specifics of business processes of the company the document form "Route sheet" is finished and also the report of Shipment and a printed form of Letter of claim which are filled out on the basis of the data provided by the client are developed.

Thanks to the fact that integration of "1C: WMS" and a corporate information system based on "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" is performed using the software product "by AXELOT: ESB the Service data bus", information exchange occurs instantly. After automation the warehouse which was earlier working on paper technology is completely transferred to service using radio data collection terminals. As a result, the speed and quality of accomplishment of warehouse transactions considerably increased.
