Provided to MTS a covering of Novosibirsk Gallery shopping Center

September 21, 2015. The Mobile TeleSystems company (MTS) reported^[1] about providing a complete covering of Novosibirsk Gallery shopping Center with a total area more than 140 thousand sq.m. Subscribers of MTS will be able to use with comfort the high-speed mobile Internet 4G and a high-quality voice communication in all premises of the center.

For the project the indoor-solution using architecture of the multistandard distributed antenna system which is specially intended for creation of high-quality acceptance of networks in big premises of difficult configurations is used. Within the project of MTS installed 75 antennas, 19 radio modules and laid more than 5000 meters of an optical and radio cable. The system of antennas is a set of points of reception-transmission of a radio signal which evenly distribute a signal from the base station in premises. One base station at the same time can service several buildings, even being on considerable removal from it – to 20 km. Installation of these systems allows to provide stable communication quality and high data transfer rates in 3G networks and 4G and also offers prospect of implementation of the LTE Advanced standard.

MTS provided a steady covering in all premises of Gallery of Novosibirsk – including on the parking for 1200 cars which was placed on upper floors of the building and also in common areas and service corridors: where the high-quality communication with external base stations is not always possible.
