EDMS THESIS simplified approval of documents at the St. Petersburg state economic university

September 29, 2015. The St. Petersburg state economic university (SPBGEU) announced implementation of electronic approval of agreements based on a document management system and tasks of TEZIS.

Choosing a Solution

As the automation system of document flow it was selected EDMS THESIS from the company "Haulmont". At the beginning of cooperation with vendor IT department of SPBGEU gave preference of Standard edition of the THESIS system on 25 simultaneous connections. System implementation and training of employees came to the end with fall of 2014.

Project Progress

In February, 2015 the management of the university made the decision on scaling of a system. The number of simultaneous connections was increased up to 50. Within implementation unique process of approval of electronic documents between divisions of the university was implemented. Implementation of process became possible thanks to the built-in visual designer of business processes who is a component of Standard edition of the THESIS system. Electronic approval significantly simplified communication between divisions.

Development Plans

In plans of the organization - to implement business process, similar on complexity, and also to apply possibilities of the electronic digital signature, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

It allowed quickly enough and it is easy to train about 300 employees", - Travin Oleg Nikolaevich, the head of department of implementation and development of information systems SPBGEU commented.

"A system was very convenient for review various orders on the contingent of students (for half a year more than 4000 orders are approved) and approvals of agreements of purchase (more than 650). It is very relevant for us as the body of the university is dispersed on our quite large city", - Oleg Nikolaevich shared impressions.
