HOST: Archive of design and technology documentation

Archive of design and technology documentation - the hardware and software system conforming to state standards of ESKD, configured under problems of specific production.

On October 1, 2015 the HOST group announced creation of electronic archive of design and technology documentation within the import substitution program.

A system covers a full stroke of work with the document:

• recognition,
• storage,
• search,
• making changes,
• approval,
• the notification on change of the production workshops and the enterprises entering cooperation process.

In electronic archive HOST Group it is stored, both design, and technology documentation:

• duplicates of originals,
• 3D models,
• technology drawings, etc.

Two options of loading of the document are provided in archive: manual (scanning) and automatic (from other accounting systems). The document is automatically recognized on the main text and loaded into the necessary folder of treelike electronic storage according to the nomenclature of a product. A set of attributes that further search occupied no more than 5 pages is appropriated to each document.

Process of issue of copies of documents, making changes and maintaining the stock record book according to rules ESKD is automated. Strict account of the version with which the production division works is kept. It is possible to provide data on cooperation with fixing of the document revision.

"Annually on medium-sized industrial enterprise 18 thousand design-technology documents are produced. These are 48 volumes of "War and peace" from drawings and specifications. In paper form it is inconvenient work with them - on search of the current version several hours or days leave. And after modification in paper the document, is not present guarantees that production will work with the latest version. Mass implementation of the electronic archive systems was slowed down only by the cost of solutions, sanctions and the import substitution program. The uniform storage is a source of reliable and up-to-date information. The verified, not duplicated and unified data from different reports and the accounting systems gather in the uniform place and are in a special way structured for the analysis, budgeting and forecasting of situations. For creation of the data warehouse HOST Group suggests to use industrial DBMS (Oracle, the MS SQL Server) based on which it is executed:

• maintaining normative reference information
• development of structures of data storage.
• development and deployment of rules of unloading of data from the applied systems

(for example, 1C, SAP R3, Excel, etc.) in the data warehouse.
