Total Network Monitor is the program for permanent observation of work of a local network, separate computers, network and system services.

Total Network Monitor monitors the status of devices in network, performance of corporate network, executing a set of checks on computers, network services and elements of infrastructure of network.

2015: There was a version of Total Network Monitor 2.0

On October 8, 2015 the Softinventive Lab company announced release of the version of Total Network Monitor 2.

In this first large update of Total Network Monitor 2.0 all elements of the project are updated and finished:

• engine,
• interface
• documentation.

Changes

• The high-performance engine uses modern multi-core processors more steadily previous more effectively, loads network resources less during monitoring.

• The user interface is processed and offers graphic display of observed network.

• The report generator includes only necessary information without less informative garbage.

• Marginal improvements include support of HTTPS checks and UTF-8 encoding when checking content and a possibility of redirection of Web servers for HTTP check as it is done by Internet browsers.

• The detailed reports offering a complete overview of a network aptaym and performance, important details about each error are available.
• Monitoring of network services and protocols is supported:
  • HTTP,
  • FTP,
  • SMTP/POP3 and IMAP servers,
  • event log,
  • status of service,
  • register status, etc.

• The administrative console includes the intuitive interface and the graphic card of network.

System Requirements

Total Network Monitor can be established on a centralized basis on Windows server. All types of network points, including the computers working under Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, broad range of network devices, wireless access points and devices are available to observation.

Total Network Monitor can watch everything that it has the IP address, the developer company stated.
