October 09, 2015. The Corus Consulting company announced automation of the analytical reporting in network of hardware stores of Stroylandiya. The solution for marketing department of the retailer is implemented on the QlikView platform.
Within the project on implementation of an analytical system of the company it was important to receive the uniform tool for data analysis about purchases and preferences of clients of online store. Now the website is one of the most significant and perspective sales channels which share in the total amount of revenue grows every year. Thanks to specifics of Internet trade the company can collect and accumulate more number of different data in real time. On the other hand, volumes of these data quickly reached the sizes which to analyze in the manual mode impracticablly. Process of the analysis still was complicated by the fact that critically significant data for obtaining the broad picture collected and stored in the different systems both in the company, and in external sources. In such conditions marketing department spent huge amount of time for collecting and processing of data retrieveds, on time analytics almost did not remain.
Choosing a Solution
In selection process of the platform specialists of Stroylandiya company made the decision on implementation of the analytical QlikView system. Thanks to existence of the built-in integration mechanisms the QlikView system allows to consolidate data from different sources in real time. Besides the flexible interface of report settings, good visualization and associative technology of data analysis allows specialists of the marketing department to reduce considerably costs for data preparation and to find time directly for the analysis.
Result
Within project implementation specialists of CORUS Consulting Group configured data loading in QlikView from a content management system (CMS system) of online store and the accounting system "1C: Trade Management" and also from the Yandex system. Metrics. Reports for the analysis of goods, buyers, orders and statistical information from the website in different analytical cuts were configured.
Stroylandiya opened own online store relatively recently – in November, 2013, but this sales channel proved almost at once the prospects and the importance. According to statistical data for 2014 our online store was visited by more than 600 thousand people, they browsed about 9 million pages of the commodity directory, and by August, 2015 the number of the browsed pages approached 11 million," – Oleg Kartashov, the chief innovation officer of Stroylandiya network comments. – "Thanks to QlikView system implementation our specialists can analyze in real time without increase in labor costs promptly growing number of data in metrics and cuts, necessary for us, for decision-making, or in the course of preparation of information for the management."
