The TRADE WIND program is intended for calculation of durability and stability of vessels, devices and their elements for the purpose of assessment of bearing capacity in operating conditions and also in test conditions and installation.
The program is expected application at design, reconstruction and diagnostics of vessels and devices and also when carrying out testing calculations of objects oil processing, chemical, petrochemical, gas, oil and other allied industries of the industry, and is recommended by Rostekhnadzor.
Calculations are made element-wise, and include:
- cylindrical feedwells and conic transitions smooth and supported with reinforcing rings);
- the welded bottoms and the otjemny bottoms and covers (spherical, elliptic, torosferichesky, conic, flat (including with stiffening ribs), spherical not flanged);
- saddle support and cylindrical feedwells in places of their opiraniye in case of horizontal vessels and devices;
- cylindrical feedwells and the bottoms in places of an opiraniye on reference racks and paws in case of vertical vessels and devices;
- strengthening of openings;
- branches;
- insert (union) in feedwells, the convex bottoms and the body of reservoirs;
- flanged couplings;
- elements of devices of columned type from the wind and seismic influences including set on a pedestal;
- reference feedwells of devices of columned type;
- pipe grids, casing, pipes, compensators, extenders, floating heads of heat exchangers;
- elements of vessels and devices with shirts (cylindrical, U-shaped, partially covered by shirts, with coiled and register channels).
Functional features of the program:
- automatic detection of settlement values, such as weight, computational lengths, characteristics of reinforcing rings (both in cylindrical feedwells, and in saddle support), lengths of chords of circles, etc. after a task of geometry of elements and properties of the used materials;
- determination of settlement thickness (both from internal, and from outer pressure) and the allowed values of pressure, forces and the moments, in the course of an element task;
- at change of geometrical parameters or conditions of loading in an element after warning there is an automatic change of data in adjacent elements of all model – thus its integrity is maintained;
- the choice of the used materials (in accordance with GOST, ASME, EN) from the database with a possibility of its replenishment, at the same time values of allowable stresses, elastic moduluses, etc. are substituted and change the program at change of material, temperature or thickness of a wall automatically;
- task of elements of devices (flanges, laying, pins, covers, the bottoms, branch pipes, …) from the database in accordance with GOST, the industry standard, ATC, service station;
- formation of the table of unions.
Convenience of using:
- volume graphic display of geometry with a possibility of editing color, both separate elements, and all model;
- the "frame" and "translucent" image allowing to see internal elements;
- analysis of initial data; if the user did not enter all data, necessary for accomplishment of calculation, or entered them incorrectly, the program issues warning until all data are not set;
- creation of diagrams of loadings and movements when calculating columned devices and saddle support;
- setup of dimensions (SI, ISS, British system of units, etc.);
- formation, viewing and printing of the complete report on calculations of elements of model with intermediate results of calculations. The report is issued according to ESKD and completely corresponds to the similar calculations made manually;
- automatic update of the program.
