Suprema BioStation T2 is the multifunction biometric terminal.
On October 14, 2015 it became known of release of the IP terminal by Suprema company with support of three-factor user authentication.

Equipment of the multifunction Suprema BioStation T2 IP terminal:
- the optical sensor of fingerprint recognition for the solution of different problems of access control and a time recording. At the heart of operation of the sensor the reliable algorithm of recognition is put;
- built-in card reader,
- the touch display for input of the PIN code.
All this provides an opportunity to combine from different methods of identification (a fingerprint, the card, the PIN code).
The Suprema BioStation T2 ACS IP terminal is provided by a series of devices:
- Suprema BST2R-OC with the built-in EM-Marin card reader;
- Suprema BST2RW-OC with the built-in EM-Marin card reader and the module Wi-fi;
- Suprema BST2M-OC with the built-in Mifare/Desfire card reader 13.56 MHz;
- Suprema BST2MW-OC with the built-in Mifare/Desfire card reader 13.56 MHz and the module
The device is intended for work as a part of the IP ACS, in a standalone mode - as the controller, providing access process control.
Set of communication interfaces. A power supply on PoE and work on Wi-Fi.
The terminal supports catering services on Power over Ethernet technologies and an opportunity for work for network with connection on TCP/IP and Wi-Fi (BST2RW-OC and BST2MW-O model), the traditional RS485, RS232, Wiegand and USB interfaces.
Function of detection of the person
BioStation T2 is equipped with the built-in camera with function of detecting of persons. If in sight of the camera during user identification the person is revealed, the picture with preserving in the magazine of logs will be made.
Work in the on-door speakerphone mode
The microphone and the loudspeaker which are built in the body of the biometric terminal allow to use the device as the call video wall with standard analog or IP видеодомофонами. As a part of the on-door speakerphone it is necessary for use of FaceStation BioStar VideoPhone software installation.
Performance and speed of work
Two processors (667MHz RISC, 533MHz DSP) provide to the terminal the speed of recognition of 1:3000 templates per second. Memory of the device (256 MB) and support of the flash-drive (1 GB) provide data storage about 200 thousand users and 1 million logs (5 thousand logs with the photo of the moment of pass).
