As Taganrogmezhraygaz implements remote monitoring of operation of the gas equipment

On October 14, 2015 the MegaFon company announced obtaining the status of official communication service provider for Taganrogmezhraygaz^[1].

According to the contract the operator should provide mobile communication of employees and work of M2M-services for operating control of the gas equipment of the enterprise.

Project Progress

MegaFon provided to the staff of Taganrogmezhraygaz of the SIM card with the Corporate Unlimited Tariff rate, connected service "Remote control objects". According to the statement of the operator, it will provide remote monitoring of operation of the gas equipment, operational prevention of technical force majeurs and will serve creation of an effective management system for a gas complex in the Rostov region.

"Management of remote objects using M2M-service allows to control a status of several thousand devices at the same time. Thus the single managed network, regardless of location of objects forms — Alexey Barkov, the director of the Rostov department of MegaFon company noted. — We specially developed several options of the given service under needs of the client: basic and with additional protection for transfer of confidential information via secure channels of communication. This option is used including banking systems and networks of payment terminals".
