2018: Single system of planning and production management
At the beginning of a year system implementation of planning and production management of CPMS (Corrugated Packaging Management System) of Witron company at the Moscow factory "Soyuz" is complete.
Consolidation of planning processes and production management of the Moscow factory "Soyuz" with other enterprises in Groups in Russia became one of key tasks at integration of the new platform purchased by Smurfit Kappa in the summer of 2017. The project was implemented based on CPMS (Corrugated Packaging Management System) of Witron company which is already used on productions Smurfit Kappa in the Leningrad Region.
Commenting on implementation, the Director of information technology Smerfit Kappa Russia Lozhechnikov Andrey noted: "CPMS is the key program at our enterprises in Russia and an integral part of our business. It covers the majority of processes of the corrugated cardboard enterprise, in it there is an order placement and calculation of cost by sales department, planning of all production phases and management of a logistics chain. For harmonious work of business very important that this system was uniform at all plants Smerfit Kappa Russia. The project on its implementation passed in Moscow successfully and with minimum risks thanks to accurate joint work of an implementation team".
The sales and marketing director Smerfit Kappa Russia [Rudova Olga]] added: "The single system allows to manage on a centralized basis production, work of warehouses and shipment for all three plants, helps to support uniform standards and procedures, and besides gives the chance to users, including sales department and department of planning, to get an information access about all orders at all plants from any workplace online. The Smurfit Kappa group is the international company which aims at that all politicians and procedures and also service for our clients were at equally high level on all platforms in all countries and the cities".
2015: Automated system of accounting and control of finished goods
At the beginning of October, 2015 in the Russian division of Smurfit Kappa – JSC Smerfit Kappa Sankt-Peterburg completes an implementation project of an automated system of accounting and control of movements of finished goods on the basis of technology of wireless communication (IRF).
A system allows to provide transparent accounting of the products which are stored in a warehouse, to prevent regrading in a warehouse, to reduce quantity of errors when loading machines and also to simplify and accelerate inventory process.
Within implementation all loaders working at a warehouse were equipped with the terminals and scanners of a barkod of Honeywell connected by means of Wi-Fi with servers of the Witron CPMS enterprise management system.
At the new scheme everyone arriving on a warehouse of a pallet gets a job unique barkod, storage locations in a warehouse are also marked barkody, scanning of barkod allows the operator of the loader to learn what actions in a warehouse need to be made. Having delivered to a pallet to the pre-determined location, the operator scans barkod places and, thus, announces a system that, the load is stored where exactly that allows to trace each pallet in real time.
Among systems capabilities — creation of the optimal scheme of warehousing on the basis of the diagram of shipments and also work planning of loaders and carrying out inventory of a warehouse without stopping its works.
The company expects that in a washed-up result search of any goods in a warehouse will take no more than two minutes, carrying out a complete inventory — four hours, besides, errors of the movement and shipment of goods will decrease to zero.
IT specialists of the company, the head of department of transport and warehouse logistics and also drivers of loaders took part in the project which cost was about 80 thousand euros.
