History

2015: The HUDWAY project collected more than 600 thousand dollars on Kickstarter

The HUDWAY project of the resident Klaster of space technologies and telecommunications of Skolkovo Foundation of RIT-Innovatsii company (Izhevsk) attracted in November, 2015 on the crowdfunding Kickstarter platform 622,785 US dollars. The financial support to the project was given by 9095 people. At the same time developers were going to collect only 100,000 dollars in a month.

Funds will be allocated for Hudway Glass project implementation. The company developed mobile application of HUDWAY which is designed to increase safety of the driver and passengers on roads. And HUDWAY GLASS is an accessory for addition of the application. It is the display for smartphones which allows the driver to focus on the road, without tearing off from it a look. At the same time it is not necessary to interpret audio-commands or to be distracted by the display of the navigator that is especially unsafe in the conditions of limited visibility — during a rain, fog, a heavy snowfall or just night-time.

Everything that is required from the driver, it to set HUDWAY GLASS before a windshield and to put on it phone. The image from the application will be projected on the display. The platform does not require a special projector and works without film glass. Except a road projection, the platform provides the additional information — the current speed and relevant distance before the following dangerous turn.
