On October 21, 2015 the Severstal company announced automation of control block repairs, implementation of means of mobile work, planning of repairs together with the module[1].
Project Tasks
In 2015 the company started data analysis about quality of the performed repair work, the number of idle times. There is accumulated information for 3-4 years and the analytics of these data as consider in the company, will allow to create target plans of precautionary repairs.

Yury Shekhovtsov, the Chief information officer of Severstal company, said in an interview to the CNews edition: "We learned to see the most important nodes influencing production processes, on the basis of statistics we predict their working capacity. At the same time not the amount of data (these are not classical Big Data), but their quality is important for us – on the basis of the acquired information we create behavior models of this or that equipment. The analytical superstructure will be put into commercial operation this year, but improvement on it will not end, it is permanent process".
