UDI was upgraded by network in DPC of SPb

On October 27, 2015 the Orange Business Services service provider announced cooperation increase with the operator of data processing centers of UDI LLC.

Project Tasks

The DPC of SDN is open in St. Petersburg for satisfaction of customers needs in the server capacities located in the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad. This platform is created according to the recommendations of Uptime Institute for the Tier III standard and has the certificate of HPCI DSS - Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard - the Information protection standard in the field of payment cards|PCI DSS]]. The DPC of SDN is created on Stack technology. KUB in which modern and economic cooling systems and power supply are used. The technical solutions used in DPC allow to place the high-loaded projects practically of any volume. For October 28, 2015 4 server modules are put in commercial operation, however the final concept of the platform means construction of 9 modules and total capacity almost in 1500 of server racks.

In process of development of DPC and growth of the customer base, the management of SDN made the decision on further development of network to provide its compliance to the growing requirements. The contractor of the project selects Orange Business Services.

Project Progress

Within the project of upgrade of network infrastructure of DPC of SDN, Orange provides delivery and service of the solutions Juniper Networks of an operator class. In addition to it, the selected optical links for direct connection of the platform will allow customers of Orange to place the servers in DPC of SDN, without leaving a single network of Orange.

Specialists of the contractor helped to select the most appropriate solution for upgrade of a core of network and creation of high-performance infrastructure at high data transfer rate on the platform and the exhaustive potential of scalability. For implementation of this project the latest Juniper Networks switches were delivered. As the supplier of the solution, Orange guarantees transition to the platform without stopping of providing services, fault tolerance and reliability of the created system and also provides service of support of a new solution throughout all term of its operation.
