2015: Samsung provided the first notebook with the 4K-screen
At the beginning of November, 2015 Samsung provided pair of new mobile computers of flagman level based on Windows. The range of the South Korean producer filled up the first notebook with the 4K-display and the hybrid business laptop capable to become the worthy competitor of Microsoft Surface Book.
The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro model is completed with the 15.6-inch touch display with the resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (Ultra HD, 4K) and with a brightness of 500 nit. The Intel processor Core i7-6700HQ (Skylake platform) with clock rate of 2.6 GHz forms a hardware basis. Operation of the chip is supplemented by 8 Gbytes of RAM and the discrete graphic Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M accelerator.
Besides, innovation received the solid state drive with a capacity of 256 Gbytes, four 2 W loudspeakers everyone, modules of wireless communication Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, the USB connectors Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI and SD. Both products will go on sale in November, 2015. Samsung Ativ Book 9 Pro will cost $1600, and a hybrid of Ativ Book 9 Spin — $1400. These PCs work running the Windows 10 operating system.[1]
