Project Progress

Implementation of WMS was required in the warehouse located in Nalchik. The number of the tasks facing the company included automation of all business processes, increase in accuracy of an inventory control and implementation of a possibility of control of expiration dates of goods. Besides, the company management after implementation of WMS was going to transfer employees of a warehouse to a price-work operation mode.

As the management of Slada LLC was already familiar with functionality "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0", for implementation this software product was selected. For project implementation the AXELOT company which specialists have extensive experience in the field of automation of warehouse logistics was invited.

Specialists of AXELOT developed the scheme of use of the implemented system and also the scheme of integration of WMS with a corporate information system – "1C: Trade Management". Automation of accomplishment of all standard transactions with goods and also additional operations on carrying out inventories and tracking of movements of commodity units was carried out. 2 stationary and 15 mobile jobs are automated.

Result

As a result of implementation of "1C: WMS" transparent process on reconciliation of a commodity remaining balance between WMS and a corporate information system was adjusted. The efficiency of assembly of orders increased, the speed of selection increased approximately by 20%. Implementation of "1C: WMS" allowed to perform automation of all key business processes in a warehouse.
