On October 28, 2015 the Jet Infosystems company announced the project of the organization of the disaster-proof virtualized IT infrastructure by request of Aeroexpress^[1].

In virtual DPC the companies contractors placed ERP BI, applications for sales planning, infrastructure services.

Jet Infosystems provided on the platform of the virtual DPC (VTsOD) a test environment for debugging of applications that almost reduced project terms by half a year. The target computer system was deployed on two platforms – in case of machine failures on resumption of work of services in reserve DPC about 40 minutes are required on average.

The fault tolerance of a server framework in the main data center is provided at the expense of a cluster configuration. At failure of one of the DBMS servers, computing tasks will pass to another without stopping service. Besides, data of DBMS are replicated on the reserve platform with an interval no more than 15 minutes that provides minimum loss of transactions in case of refusal. The network balancers distributing requests of users between computing resources of DPC are also reserved.

For storage systems snapshot-replication is implemented: only changes in databases are transferred to reserve data center. It allows to save the place on disk arrays, to unload communication channels, to achieve the high speed of recovery of services (RTO).

For specialists of IT service of Aeroexpress plans of disaster recovery as a part of which management of restart of virtual machines and replication of data between data centers are described.
