As in Promsvyazbank upgraded management of limits with software of IBM and SAP

On October 29, 2015 Technoserv Consulting announced diggings upgrade of the IT system of management of crediting limits of corporate clients of Promsvyazbank.

Project Progress

Management of credit limits — important aspect of work of Promsvyazbank on risk reduction in the field of corporate crediting. To support this labor-intensive process the command Technoserv Consulting developed and implemented the IT system for work with limits on the IBM Websphere Portal platform, integrated IT solution with systems operating in bank:

• the corporate data warehouse about clients,
• CORE BANKING SYSTEM
• system of calculation of use of limits SAP LM.

Action in Promsvyazbank (2014)

The functionality of IT solution covers establishment of crediting limits in case of their approval by credit committee or other authorized bodies of bank, viewing limits and their editing, information display about use of limits and the credit deals concluded in their framework and also flexible search in several tens parameters and the subsequent portfolio analysis of limits. At the same time a system allows to work not only with basic data on crediting limits, but also all information accompanying process of establishment of a limit — the providing volume, profitability parameters, conditions of providing credit products, the diagram of selection and repayment — only more than 150 parameters.

Integration of the IT system of management of limits into the core banking system and SAP LM allows to have detailed information on a limit, including communications between limits and credit deals concluded by bank with the partners entering into group of the client on which the crediting limit is set. The possibility of data acquisition about use of a limit online is one of the major project deliverables. It allows to reduce significantly time for approval of the next transaction within a limit. The mechanism of the repeated data validations entered by users during the work with a limit became distinctive feature of IT solution also.

Project Results

Users of a system are the employees who are responsible for risk management, the credit managers and employees of client support working with corporate clients in all branch network of Promsvyazbank — more than 500 people. Multi-user access to viewing data in a system helps to organize work in it to all interested employees.
