Smartec ST-PS110

Smartec ST-PS110 is the block of uninterrupted power (UPS).

In a product the range of Smartec there were blocks of uninterrupted power (UPS) ST-PS110 which receive the electric power from network 190 - 260 V / 50 Hz and will transform it to a direct current with tension of 13 - 13.5 V (10 A) for a power supply of devices of control systems of access, video surveillance and/or a security alarm. New universal UPSes of 12 V have short circuit protection and overloads and are supplied with the power conditioner. Besides, they allow to install in the body one or two rechargeable batteries on 17 Ach for smooth operation of the serviced equipment at shutdown of tension in the main power supply network. Power of the new Smartec UPS is enough completely to provide with a power supply small security systems, for example, a security alarm of the private house or office. On large objects these UPSes of 12 V can be used for supply with the electric power of separate components of a control system of access, the security fire warning or video surveillance. At this ST-PS110 are issued in two modifications: ST-PS110EM with relay exits for monitoring of its working capacity and ST-PS110E with an exit like "open collector".

For maintenance of rated voltage at the output of the UPS are equipped with the built-in power conditioner which compensates both small, and significant changes in input voltage from the main power supply network (220 V) for ±10% and more. Thanks to it, it is possible to exclude the damage and failure of the expensive equipment of security systems connected with voltage surges. It should be noted that the output current of the UPS of 12 V makes 10 A, and in dive and all 10.5 A while other 12 V power sources of this series (ST-PS105 and ST-PS103) provide at the exit current in 5 A (peak 5.5 A) and 3 A (peak 3.5 A).

Visualization of a status of input and output lines of the UPS and also rechargeable batteries (at their connection), is performed by the LEDs brought to the front panel. At the same time ST-PS110 has short circuit protection, arising at mechanical short circuit of wires because of violation of their isolation, or short circuit on the party of the consumer of the UPS of 12 V and also protection against an overload which arises when exceeding power of a coupled load over the maximum power output. In case of the sharp growth of current intensity of this 12 V the power source is also switched-off from loading that allows to save its working capacity further.

Independent operation of the UPS and the equipment connected to it can be performed from one or two rechargeable batteries on 17 Ach, both the Smartec brand, and other producers for which installation in the ST-PS110 body there is a specially allotted place. When using two accumulators their parallel connection which will allow to increase the general capacity and duration of a power supply of 12 V of consumers twice is necessary. Besides, the UPS of 12 V maintains functionality for protection of rechargeable batteries against a polarity reversal at the wrong connection of loading and also from their deep discharge and a recharge.
