On ELAR Pauerskan digitized local history documents of the Vladimir region

November 05, 2015. ELAR corporation delivered a complex of high-quality scanning of ELAR Pauerskan in the Vladimir regional universal scientific library of M. Gorky.

Project Progress

On the equipment specialists of library transferred rare local history editions to a digital format and provided to a wide range of users access through the Internet, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

ELAR Pauerskan of M 7600 was purchased by library for scanning of the documents difficult for digitization: rare editions for a reprint and periodicals of A1 format which were issued in the twenties last century.

Development Plans

In the Vladimir regional universal scientific library of M. Gorky of ELAR Pauerskan of M 7600 are also going to use for digitization of cards, cards, old photos of other documents requiring scanning of the increased quality.

We will transfer to a digital format on a complex of high-quality scanning about 7,000 editions. Thus, unique documents will be saved for history and are available to users of our digital library".

This resource represents the information system providing free access to complete texts of electronic copies of rare and local history documents of libraries of the Vladimir region".
