On October 30, 2015 it became known of the project of modeling of the sea transport system of export of oil from Yamal by request of Gazprom Neft New Port LLC. Contractor of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Krylov State Scientific Center (KSSC).
Project Progress
Specialists of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Krylov State Scientific Center (KSSC) developed a computer simulation model of a system of sea transportation of oil of the Novoportovsky oil-gas condensate field (Yamal Peninsula). Бόльшую a part of year ship traffic happens on the 500-kilometer ice channel in motionless solder ice of Gulf of Ob more than two meters thick. An open part of the Kara Sea is covered almost completely by the drifting ices.

Solving a problem taking into account such not static factor as ice, used technology of simulation modeling. The software solution integrates modules of ship-building calculations, GIS environment and a logistic simulation model constructed in AnyLogic under the single interface. The simulation model reproduces dynamics of filling of coastal storage, logic of the movement and interaction of courts in "probabilistic" weather conditions and taking into account adfreezing of the ice channel.

Project Results
"We some of the first in Russia applied modern agentny simulation modeling to a research of work of the Arctic fleet, - Oleg Tarovik, the research associate of Krylov GNTs noted. – Certainly, some problems can be solved, using models of other types or empirical estimates, but a number of answers can be received only using agentny simulation modeling. Such approach allows to consider not only time - dependent and probabilistic factors, but also an interaction logic of courts. For example, correct determination of capacity of coastal storage is possible only using a simulation model".
In addition to the New Port project in Krylov GNTs executed some more projects on a research of work of the courts and ice breakers using technology of simulation modeling.
"The technical solutions put on early project stages in many respects define its cost efficiency further - Oleg Tarovik emphasized. – Afterwards it is very difficult to change such solutions. Therefore use of simulation modeling is absolutely justified, in particular – for the complex and atypical transport systems. The project of the Novoportovsky field allowed us completely to be convinced of it".
