2015: Creation of a system of Special Communications and Information Service for the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 9 billion rubles
On November 11, 2015 it became known of a victory of MegaFon in the tender for creation of Special Communications and Information Service for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. For these purposes from the state budget more than 9 billion rubles will be selected.
As it appears from the message of MegaFon, the operator will construct the integrated departmental system of radio telephone communication for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Infrastructure will be created "from scratch", at the same time a system will include all types of communication — fixed, mobile and data networks, the representative of MegaFon without providing additional parts announced RBC the project.
It is noted that two more companies participated in tender of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in addition to MegaFon. Their names are not told. Representatives of MTS, VimpelCom and Tele2 did not begin to answer a question of RBC of participation in the tender.[1]
MegaFon signed the agreement for a period of five years with bureau " NPO Spetsialnaya tekhnika i svyaz of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. According to data on the website of state procurements, the completion date on creation of the communication system for security agency is set for December 15, 2020. The maximum price of the contract is 9.078 billion rubles.[2]
