First Line Software automated a warehouse complex of Magistral-NN company

November 3, 2015. The First Line Software company announced automation of a warehouse complex of Magistral-NN company.

Former automation of a warehouse was implemented based on the WMS system of 1C implemented by IT service "Magistral-NN", but it did not provide transparency of all warehouse processes. The problem was also that because of features of topology, information on specific location of the moved goods therefore movements of goods from one working section in another often represented long multistage process was lost.

viadatWMS WMS system from the German concern viastore was unrolled in a warehouse and integrated with the ERP system of "Magistral-NN" based on 1C. The project was executed by the Russian company First Line Software – the official partner of viastore in Eastern Europe.

"Magistral-NN" received transparency of actions of employees and increased the speed of acceptance and shipment of goods. All warehouse processes underwent automation actually. In particular, inventory of a warehouse is automated. Earlier this process was performed according to paper, and then were brought in the computer. For a warehouse where nearly 150000 places are used, it was huge work. After implementation of WMS inventory is carried out using radio terminals and all changes instantly get to a system, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.

"We are satisfied with results of system implementation. According to the results of work under control of viadatWMS we managed to reduce warehouse costs for 20 percent, having achieved cutting of costs for work of employees as a result of improvement of management and optimization of many procedures. So, for example, the number of the returns representing considerable "headache" for the enterprise managed to be reduced by 30 percent", - the deputy CEO for warehouse logistics of Magistral-NN company Andrey Solntsev noted.

I want to note that it was our first project of automation of a warehouse implemented by absolutely independently Russian team without the aid of the German partner. It is necessary to tell that implementation went not easy, but eventually all tasks facing us were solved.
