Dawn (OS)

Dawn (Dawn OS) - the operating system, is intended for creation of operating environment of execution of programs on the servers and workstations created on a hardware platform of x86-64 and work with data for office use.

For October 13, 2015 Dawn OS is provided to the user by the text interface (command line) and a graphical multiwindow interface (a desktop and panels of applications launch). Dawn OS supports an operation mode of the superuser of root.

Dawn OS gives an opportunity of setup and gaining access to network resources and support of file systems (ext4, ntfs, tmpfs, iso9660, sysfs, nfs). Network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP) are a part of Dawn OS

Dawn OS provides:

• support of the modern equipment (the structure of the operating system includes a set of the updated drivers);

reliable system operations;

• information security tool (mechanisms of forced typification, discretionary access control, identification and authentication of users, registration, ensuring integrity and testing of KSZ).
