"The world of the tool" checked own efficiency

On November 27, 2015 CORUS Consulting Group announced completion of audit of planning processes and forecasting in distribution company "World of the Tool".

Project Tasks

In 2013 the company implemented the solution on the Oracle RPAS platform for planning and forecasting of sales.

Action of company (2014)

The customer attracted a command of Corus Consulting for which set the task - to book complex audit of the business processes connected with operational planning and to develop recommendations about development of a system to job analysis of the solution.

Audit included the analysis of process of forecasting of sales and use of its results in management of trade inventories, including purchase planning and distribution of goods by logistic network.

Project Results

On analysis results of business processes, statuses of a trade inventory, and the range the conclusion is drawn on the achieved project objectives of implementation of Oracle RPAS. Potential of development of the inspected and adjacent processes is designated, recommendations about study are made.

Achievement of goals of an implementation project of a system of operational planning becomes possible at a right choice of partners and the information platform, but effective operation of a system in the changing market requires continuous adaptation of processes of the company for compliance to its business challenges. Respectively, based on audit we are going to complement the scheme of motivation of bigger number of employees with an indicator "the level of service of clients" and also to expand a range of the made decisions concerning the target value of a trade inventory and its turnover.
