Korus Yard Management

Yard Management is the software solution for logistics management. It is created as expanding systems capabilities of management of the warehouse Manhattan SCALE.

On December 1, 2015 group of companies CORUS Consulting announced creation of the solution for Yard Management logistics management. The product expands opportunities warehouse management systems Manhattan SCALE. The solution is intended for control of motor transport in the territory of a warehouse and process optimization of loading shipment.

Interface of the application (2015)

Yard Management (management of the yard) is the specialized solution developed by specialists of Corus Consulting with assistance of Manhattan Associates.

Yard Management helps the companies to expand possibilities of WMS outside a warehouse:

• coordinate warehouse processes taking into account readiness of motor transport and schedules of docks,
• control entrance – departure of transport in the territory of a warehouse,
• manage queues on loading,
• increase the speed and accuracy of loading.

The basic functionality of Yard Management contains:

• planning of windows of loading,
• monitoring of traffic in the territory of a warehouse and load of docks,
• control of the plan of arrival of transport,
• SMS informing drivers on an order status,
• calculation of percent of selection of orders and registration of deliveries.

The module is integrated with the Manhattan SCALE system that provides the flexibility of setup characteristic of all products Manhattan Associates. Use of Yard Management as the add-on module to the warehouse management system Manhattan SCALE helps to reduce a downtime of docks and cargo transport, to increase turnover and capacity of a warehouse without increase in the areas and the additional hardware.
