Why SKB Kontur brought the fiber-optic communication line into office

On December 3, 2015 the Rostelecom company announced the organization for the order of SKB Kontur company the fiber-optical route to office of the customer.

Project Results

Fiber lines connect office of the IT company to its divisions. Total length, the communication lines constructed by Rostelecom, exceeds one kilometer. For placement of communications underground, the Internet service provider completed the operating cable sewerage and set new wells.

Rostelecom conducts works (2014)

Telecom infrastructure underground is environmentproofed - moisture, temperature differences, electromagnetic interferences, the different natural phenomena. Construction works were continued nearly two months.

Vadim Makarov, the head of the Ekaterinburg branch PJSC Rostelecom, said:

In addition to services which already we provide we are ready to provide the client with other innovation products and services, whether it be the protected virtual private network (VPN), services of monitoring of traffic and protection against DDoS attacks or the high-speed Internet. For effective cooperation we have a powerful technological base with wide geography, unique experience and practices.

Mikhail Tyuklyaev, the chief of the department of information technologies of SKB Kontur company, told:

We stake on advanced technologies in everything therefore telecom infrastructure of our divisions should be at appropriate level and that is important, to have development potential. The optics, thanks to the high capacity, will provide us access to all communication services at new office.
