UMMC-OTsM managing assets in the field of metal rolling and metal working step by step implements an accounting system and planning in production. The first implements one of its stages — accounting of movement of procurements and semi-finished products, and recently at all Russian enterprises automation of works of control services of quality came to the end. For implementation of the large-scale project executed under the leadership of the director of organizational development different specialists are involved: business analysts, programmers, technical, production specialists of both management company, and manufacturing plants — the Kirov and Revda OTsM, Kolchugtsvetmeta^[1].

The program of operational accounting and movement of metal consists of several blocks: accounting of movement of procurements and semi-finished products, engineering control of quality and conversion accounting. The program also includes projects on accounting of all operations on metal working and production planning. Especially it should be noted that within the program the concept of traceability of the movement of metal, uniform for the OTsM plants, its identification, accounting is created. It allows to connect all information on metal in a single system and to process it by uniform rules for all plants. Automation of accounting is executed on the basis of an information system 1C:Enterprise 8. Work online at all production phases of metal rolling provides necessary information on all processing and the movement of metal in workshops of the plants. Transition of control service of quality in June of this year on new accounting methods in an information system brought undoubted conveniences: controllers work in one system with the central factory laboratory in which operational accounting of the arriving requests for analyses and tests of products is also automated. Data storage on all transactions of processing and their systematic analysis play a large role in development of the right decisions on rational use of metal, product quality improvement, search of decrease in cost value. The next stage of development of a large-scale IT system — implementation of conversion accounting, i.e. accounting of the complete information about each manufacturing stage of products: that made, who made as made whether there were defects, costs of resources and materials. For such works use of mobile terminals at masters and workers in workshops is supposed, the new equipment already passes tests in workshops.
