The St. Petersburg network Pizza Ollis upgraded to the new version of a biometric system of accounting of working time of BioLink BioTime. Now this system services more than 850 employees of network and became an effective remedy of personnel management.

The extensive menu (over 50 types of pizza, salads, hot and cold appetizers, paste and a lasagna, easy desserts and drinks), strict quality control of dishes, cozy interiors of restaurants — here than the Pizza Ollis network achieved success from residents of the Northern Capital in 11 years of work in St. Petersburg. Two more major components — skilled staff and saving of time. The network saves time both the clients (delivery of dishes does not take more than 30 minutes), and the employees: exactly thanks to the effective organization of their work Pizza Ollis supports the democratic prices without prejudice to quality of dishes and service.

The powerful contribution is made here by a biometric time recording. It was implemented at restaurants of Italian cuisine three years ago; further strengthening of labor and production discipline became the main result of application of BioTime. To note arrival for work or leaving from it, it is enough to employee to concern the optical fingerprint scanner, a system performs all other operations on a time recording independently and automatically.

The image of a fingerprint will be transformed to digital model from which it is impossible to recover initial "picture". Again received model is compared to digital images of earlier registered biometric identifiers; if two models (new and available) matched, time of the corresponding event (arrival/leaving) is fixed.

As main "consumer" of reports of BioTime the Service of personnel acts now. BioTime exempted managers of service of personnel from routine, but numerous and labor-consuming operations on a time recording; at the same time thanks to use of biometric technologies the main requirement to management accounting — its reliability is implemented. The fingerprint unlike the card or the PIN code cannot be forgotten or transferred to other person that he noted arrival/leaving for himself and the colleagues.

One more major advantage of BioTime — capability of this system to service a significant amount of employees (in Pizza Ollis of their several hundred) and to work effectively in geographically distributed network: biometric terminals of a time recording BioLink FingerPass of TM including fingerprint scanners in the structure function at all 19 restaurants of Italian cuisine.

Willingly I recommend the BioTime system for application. The time recording is necessary in any company, and application of biometrics guarantees the accuracy and reliability of accounting. I assess results of use of BioTime in our network positively; it is sure that the new version of this system will allow to fix and develop the achieved success
