TsKT "MAY" installed a video surveillance system on production SIBUR Kstovo

December 15, 2015. The center of computer MAY technologies announced project completion on creation of a video surveillance system on explosive production Sibur Kstovo.

Choosing a Solution

For observation of a situation on perimeter of a commodity source of raw materials of liquefied petroleum gases and technology objects and also fixings of the facts of unauthorized penetration on the territory Sibur Kstovo, the management of the enterprise made the decision on creation of the system of perimeter and technology video surveillance meeting all safety requirements on an object.

The choice of the partner for creation of a video surveillance system fell on the company TsKT "MAY" having successful experience of creation of different automated systems on dangerous productions.

Project Progress

The development team of the IT company designed and unrolled the video surveillance system consisting from:

• 48 IP cameras with high resolution;
• the switches closed in a uniform ring to which the video image from cameras is in real time transferred;
• the head switch located in server and accumulating information from all switches;
• the server which receives and performs record of the video flow arriving from the head switch;
• places of operators where by means of a specialized software information from the server is displayed monitors.

The created video surveillance system is intended for work all the year round 24/7. All cameras, except for cameras in protection, have automatic transition of an operation mode day/night, infrared illumination, broad range of working temperatures.

Cameras on production perimeter Sibur Kstovo are protected by the blast-tight covers of the most high strength having high resistance to influence of vapors of hydrogen sulfide.

Special heating elements and fans which do not allow temperature to fall to them below 0th degrees Celsius are a part of telecommunication cabinets and to overheat in warm season.

Communication between switches is constructed according to the industry protocol TurboRing which has very fast recovery time of network. At break of a ring on some line, the network will instantly be rebuilt, and information will be transferred in other direction.

A system automatically keeps record of archive, all cameras are adjusted and do not require additional intervention of personnel.

Result

Within project implementation specialists of TsKT "MAY" carried out the complex of works which included:

• system design of perimeter and technology video surveillance;
• creation on object of video surveillance of necessary technical infrastructure (installation of cable passages and laying of the separate optical fiber cable);
• purchase of the necessary equipment;
• balancing and commissioning (installation and connection of telecommunication cabinets, surveillance cameras, switches, monitors and also installation of specialized software);
• preparation and training of operational and operational group of the customer in work with a system.

The video surveillance system is unrolled based on HikVision IP video cameras, the Trassir video recorders, the explosion-proof equipment of KORTEM-GORELTEH, the MOXA switches.
