In January, 2015 the Russian forwarding company "PEK" announcement a single corporate system of communications based on Microsoft Skype for business. It simplified communication between geographically distributed branches and directors of the whole country, having increased at the same time its quality. Service provided carrying out education video conferences and webinars for a large number of employees that considerably reduced travel costs. Besides, the functionality of connection to conversations in Skype for business of external users helped to simplify communication with partners during rebranding of the company. At last, the simple and familiar interface of service was positively apprehended by personnel, and cards of contacts helped the staff of different divisions to learn about availability of the colleagues to communication.
In our company of 110 branches which are located through the whole country – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. With respect thereto to us the communication medium which would allow to resolve quickly production issues was vital and to organize distance learning of employees, – commented. – Using Skype for business we managed without significant changes in administration to solve a number of problems which arose because of instability of channels of network earlier. PEK company (earlier the First Forwarding Company) – one of the largest players in the market of freight transportation in Russia. The staff of the company totals more than 7000 people. Earlier the organization used communication service Lync 2013. The transition to the latest service Skype for business performed all per day gave to personnel a number of additional opportunities and simpler, intuitive instrument of communication.
