Solution and Contractor Selection

On analysis results of functionality of the existing ERP systems focused on management of industrial enterprises on KNAAPO the decision on application as a basis of creation of an ACS of KNAAPO of the Aerospace&Defense BAAN IV system was made.

As the consultant the TopS BI company was selected (enters into the Systematics group).

Services in technical support of a system are performed by GMCS (enters into the Compulink group).

Project Progress

On the basis of BAAN IV A&D the parties started implementation of the project of creation of an ACS of KNAAPO at the end of 2002.

The first stage of a system covered processes of management of the purchased material resources. Practical working off of solutions is complete by the end of 2003. Integration tools with the FINANCE system operating in consolidation - Ladasoft are fulfilled. The electronic system of reference books of material resources is created. Means of BAAN execute a full stroke of transactions with purchasing items, from execution of the supplier contract before write-off in production.

Online in a system all warehouses and divisions work; operations with all nomenclature of purchasing items are reflected; material costs according to all nomenclature of external and internal orders are reflected; the status of payment under all agreements of suppliers is reflected. � production planning and management, the party started working off of the key block of a system in 2004. Practical working off of project solutions is complete in 2005. A single electronic system of reference books of material resources of KNAAPO and the enterprises – developers of products - Sukhoi Design Bureau, by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Ltd is constructed. Integration into the TeamCenter PDM system regarding data acquisition about a product is provided. Project offers are developed for system deployment of sales management and deliveries.

In 2006 all project works are completed. Start of full-scale integrated project support environment, preparation and production of parts and units of installation lot of products of the international project "The Russian regional SSJ airplane - 100" is performed. Electronic information exchange of GSS Ltd and KNAAPO on support, maintenance of design processes, technology preparation, production and delivery of products "from the first part to a finished product" is provided.

Effect from Implementation

The first months of commercial operation of a system showed notable improvement of use of stocks.
