2can & ibox received the certificate of conformity of PCI DSS

JSC Smartfin which possesses brand 2can & ibox underwent certification for 2016 on the standard of data security Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

This standard was developed by Council for standards of security of the industry of payment cards (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, PCI SSC) which was founded by the largest international payment systems: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover.

An inspection was carried out by the accredited Compliance Control Ltd. company having the status Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). The status QSA allows the company to confirm compliance of security systems of the companies working at the market of payment cards, to requirements of the PCI DSS standard.

JSC Smartfin underwent testing according to all 12 sections of requirements of the standard among which such as: ensuring data protection of holders of cards during their storage; ensuring data encryption of holders of cards by their transfer through public networks; use and regular updating of the antivirus software; development and support of the safe systems and applications; regular testing of systems and processes of security and some other. At the same time the company received the certificate of PCI DSS of version 3.1 accepted only in April, 2015.
