Pavel Filip is the Moldavian statesman and the manager. On January 20, 2016 by parliament of Moldova it is confirmed to the post of the prime minister of the country. From 2011 to 2016 was the minister of information technologies and communications of Moldova. Vice president of the Democratic Party of Moldova.

Biography

Paweê Phillip was born on April 10, 1966 in the village of Penesheshty, Strashensky district, the Moldavian SSR.

In 1983 entered the Chisinau polytechnical institute of Lazo which ended in 1990, having gained the diploma of the engineer. Paweê Phillip continued the education at the International institute of management (1991 — 1996).

Started a labor career at the Chisinau candy factory "Bukuriya". In 1991 — 1993 worked at factory the chief of compressor department; in 1993 — 1994 was the director of department of production. From 1998 to 2001 held a position of the chief engineer of JSC Bukuriya, combining it with a post of the deputy CEO for problems of production and technology. From 2001 to 2008 was the CEO of factory.

In 2008 — 2011 Paweê Phillip was the CEO of tobacco factory JSC TUTUN-CTC.

2011: Appointment as the minister of IT and communication of Moldova

Phillip came to policy in 2011 when it was appointed to the position of the minister of information technologies and communications of Moldova in Filat's office. Further, Paweê Phillip was re-elected on this post in Yury Lyanke, Kirill Gaburich and Valery Strelts's offices. On its initiative strategy "Digital Moldova − 2020" was developed.

2016: Appointment as the prime minister of Moldova

Against the background of protest performances - one behind another - two Moldavian governments were dismissed. At the beginning of 2016 the Democratic party entering into ruling coalition tried to carry out on a premier post of the famous businessman and oligarch Vladimir Plakhotnyuk who is also referred to as 'the chief puppeteer 'at this time. But its appointment was opposed by both oppositional formations, and the president of Moldova Nicolae Timofti who was earlier avoiding public designation of any own position. Representatives of the western states also spoke against Plakhotnyuk's appointment.

Instead of it, in the last day before the expiration after which early parliamentary elections had to become inevitable the Democratic party put forward on a post of the prime minister Paweê Phillip whom observers considered by the decorative figure managed by the same Plakhotnyuk. Nevertheless, representatives of the USA, the EU and the neighboring Romania amicably supported the new candidate, being afraid that early elections can bring a victory pro-Russian to the Batch of socialists and 'Our batch'.

On January 20, 2016 Pavel Filat is confirmed by parliament of Moldova to the post of the prime minister of the country.

Private life

He is married to Tatiana Phillip. In Phillip's family two adult children.
