On December 15, 2015 the company Meijin announced installation supercomputer Meijin in one of laboratories institute of complex security and special instrument making of MGUITRE (MIREA).
The cluster of Meijin was integrated into the existing local computer network.
Project Tasks
- provide a possibility of remote monitoring and management of key parameters from jobs of laboratory.
- provide necessary data processing rate.
Project Results
Installation supercomputer Meijin allows to implement two projects – SmartInterface and Parallelization of genetic algorithms. In the SmartInterface project the cluster Meijin is used for parallel machine learning of a 3D model of the person on 10 thousand images of high-quality persons. Parallelization of genetic algorithms is based on basic scientific research.
During the project possibilities of expansion of computing power from the existing 7 TFlops to 97 computing nodes or up to 96 TFlops were provided.
Smooth operation of a cluster of Meijin is supported by uninterruptible power supply units: two VRT-2000XL and one VRT-1000XL.
VRT-2000XL provide protection of computing nodes, VRT-1000XL - additional protection of a switching equipment.
