Lattelecom Cloud

Lattelecom Cloud is the failsafe automated platform for providing virtual data centers and instruments of implementation ITaaS.

At the heart of its development on the platform VMware vSphere Velvica, OpenStack Neutron, management provides the solution Servionicas. The Russian clients will be able to use Lattelecom Cloud cloud as the platform for a "hot" reserve of capacities providing additional fault tolerance IT infrastructures. Based on Lattelecom Cloud it is going to advance, for example, the disaster-proof service for the organization of the geodistributed virtual data center which does not have analogs on reliability and security – Russia for this purpose it is relevant, considering long distances irregularity of development of telecommunication infrastructure in regions. The innovation cloud platform will allow Lattelecom to expand a range of the provided cloud services for corporate clients, first of all – the SMB-segment interested in the inexpensive, convenient and quickly unrolled cloud solutions.

Infrastructure of Lattelecom Cloud is unrolled based on the equipment of HP in the European data center of Lattelecom "Dattum" certified by Tier III. Servionika within partnership will provide further technology development of the platform – in it own developments of the company based on the open code and also the solution of the leading world vendors are applied. As the virtualization platform the solution VMware vSphere is selected, for ensuring billing and process of automation of sales of cloud services the Velvica platform is used, and orchestration is provided by the solution of Servionika in a complex with networked environment based on OpenStack Neutron.

For December 23, 2015 the platform is expected support up to 1500 virtual machines. In the project increase in resources of the platform in process of growth of number of clients is put. A hardware basis of Lattelecom Cloud – the equipment of HP placed in the European certified data center of Dattum (Tier III) belonging to Lattelecom.

On December 23, 2015 the companies Lattelecom and "Servionika" announced start of the Lattelecom Cloud platform.

Start of the virtual platform allows the Latvian telecom operator to expand services for the acting clients, opens opportunities for an entry into the markets of Russia and Europe. Development and deployment of Lattelecom Cloud proceeded from December, 2014 to September, 2015, Servionica invested in creation of the platform ~ 2.8 thousand man-hours.

The platform supports the affiliate program, providing instruments of sales through partners and agents.
