SK "Gefest" moved with DPC of IBS DataFort

The Gefest insurance company not only placed the IT infrastructure in DPC of IBS DataFort, but also transferred on outsourcing functions on its administration and service. How the project was implemented and whether it was succeeded to achieve the planned indicators of its efficiency, in an interview of CNews Georgy Vlaskin, the head of department of information technologies^[1] told^[2].

In 2012 when moving to new office the decision to transfer all IT components to the outsourcing Data-center was made. It was connected with the fact that the new lessor did not permit us to construct own DPC.

At the beginning of 2015 the management set the task to cut down expenses on the Data-center. We began to look for the company which would give an opportunity not only to place our equipment in its DPC, but also to provide network and other administration. It was important for us that we could always address integrator for the operational solution of various problems. We have neither opportunity, nor need to have own highly skilled system administrators of the Oracle database, the systems of remote access of VMware and so forth. The offer of IBS DataFort suited us both according to the list of the provided services, and at the price.
