The Swiss company DECENT announced at the beginning of 2016 completion of development of the platform for content distribution based on Blockchain technology. Developers plan that the DECENT service will be available to the Russian users.

The company notes that the platform fully shows all key features of P2P-network. Through DECENT it is possible to have blogs, to publish e-books, to extend audiocontent, to organize stream video, to perform distribution and sale of the software and much another.

The distinctive feature of DECENT is that all royalties are received by the author of content, without deduction of the commissions of the distributor or the publisher.

Process of content distribution by means of DECENT begins with the fact that material is divided into two parts: public and ciphered. After that the number of possible publishers miners is defined and keys for the subsequent decoding of the placed data are established. The special file is created together with publishers miners who participate in further storage and content distribution. For calculations within a system title signs - the internal DCT cryptocurrency are used. In total 6 main types of transactions which algorithms ensure safety of purchase, exchange and putting down of ratings are provided.
