The booth of BioTime Station is issued in floor and wall executions, includes the optical fingerprint scanner and the software of "a biometric checkpoint" for fast and exact fixing of time in which the employee was for work or left it.

Zorgtech companies (one of producers of information touchsreen kiosks) and BioLink Solutions announced at the beginning of 2016 release of the joint solution — the biometric booth of BioTime Station. The booth includes the optical fingerprint scanner and is adapted for functioning in composition of BioLink BioTime — a biometric system of accounting of working time.

The booth is issued in two executions:

  • floor — effective, stylish, mobile;
  • wall — compact and economic.

Are included in a basic equipment of booths: monitor, motherboard, RAM module, hard drive, power supply, speaker system, UPS. Biometric booths in addition can be equipped with the touch screen, the keyboard, means of video surveillance.

As a part of booths the system module of a time recording of BioTime — "a biometric checkpoint" of BioTime Clock functions. Having concerned the fingerprint scanner, the employee notes arrival time for work or leaving from it; after identification of the monitor the photo of the employee (is displayed at its existence), his Full Name and type of the registered event (arrival/leaving); also corresponding sound notifications are possible.

For booths the on-line version of "a biometric checkpoint" — BioTime WebClock is created. She does not demand installation of the special software, is loaded from the browser and automatically transfers to the BioTime server information on time of the recorded arrivals/goings. If to equip the biometric booth with the keyboard or the touch screen, the accuracy of a time recording even more will increase: employees will begin to select additional types of events — for example, start time of a lunch break and its termination.

It is not necessary to enter PIN codes, to show cards to the user; the biometric identifier cannot be lost, forgotten or transferred to other person that it was noted in a system of accounting of working time for itself(himself) and other colleagues. Images of fingerprints will be transformed to digital model, inverse transformation of model in the image — mathematically not an implementable task.

Biometric booths — not stiffened solution. Their further development with solvent demand can go in the following directions:

  • expansion of the nomenclature of the used biometric identifiers by its addition with the drawing of veins or the three-dimensional image of the person;
  • application of booths not only for personnel management and a time recording, but also in customer service and visitors — we will tell, in banks (work with investors, borrowers, representatives of legal entities) or in medical institutions (the fast and faultless identification of patients by their unique biometric parameters excluding the probability of emergence of medical errors).
