IDGC of Centre completed system testing of the virtual work places "EC2015-Terem"

Specialists of PJSC IDGC of Centre completed at the end of 2015 system testing of virtual work places of users (VDI) on the basis of the platform of the corporate virtualization "EC2015-Terem" created by forces of I-Teco

"EC2015-Terem" – the Russian platform of corporate virtualization, own development of I-Teco company which allows to build the protected corporate systems of VDI/VPS (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/Virtual Private Server) of any "turnkey" level, using all advantages of convergent IT infrastructure without significant increase in costs for implementation and integration of its components. The Kraftway server hardware, means of ensuring of protection of virtual infrastructure on the basis of solutions of Gazinformservice company and also the software of virtualization, management and monitoring of infrastructure, data storage from I-Teco system integrator are a part of the EC2015-Terem platform.

The solution can be used as the universal highly reliable platform for deployment and operation office, accounting and web applications, the software development environments, engineering and design, EDMS, mail, file and ERP servers. The EC2015-Terem platform has cybersecurity mechanisms, fully corresponding to orders of FSTEC of Russia No. 17 and No. 21, and can be used for protection and personal data processing.

During testing of the platform specialists of IDGC of Centre managed to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the solution "EC2015-Terem", including approbation of the used corporate software set by regulations. It is pleasant that the customer appreciated ease of use and managements of the new platform of corporate virtualization. Testing of the solution placed in data center of I-Teco was performed through remote connection to VDI virtual machines using thin clients of Atrust allowing to reduce total cost of ownership and to simplify process of administration of the hardware, in workplaces of users in three pilot regions of the customer: in Moscow, Tver and Kostroma.

During tested the full compliance of functionality of the platform of the corporate virtualization "EC2015-Terem" is set to qualifying standards, including opportunities:

• works of staff of IDGC of Centre in pilot regions in the environment of VDI located in Moscow using own network infrastructure;
• uses of thin clients instead of the classical office workstations allowing to simplify and reduce the price of their service for the staff of departments of IT support;
• uses of client-server corporate applications of IDGC of Centre with the placed client applications in the virtualized environment of the EC2015-Terem platform and also all corporate application software approved by regulations of IDGC of Centre.

We are satisfied with results of testing of the platform of the corporate virtualization "EC2015-Terem". Results of tests on two of our branches and executive office are recorded, – comments. – During testing we were convinced that the unprepared user has no difficulties during the work on a virtual work place.
