The Soft-Service group announced on December 18, 2015 completion of business process automation of JSC Bashvtormet on the platform of the 1C software product: Management of manufacturing enterprise".
Project Tasks
At the JSC Bashvtormet enterprise there were no automated systems of materials requirement planning, formation of specifications and the production schedule, loading of a production equipment, control of acceptance and processing of scrap.
The company needed to solve a number of production problems:
- increase in volumes of procurement and processing of scrap on the available equipment;
- gain of control of costs of the enterprise;
- improvement of planning of utilization of capacity;
- setup of control of production on all production chain (from acceptance and processing of scrap before shipment of finished goods to clients).
The complete solution allowed to reduce cost of production.
For production optimization the company made the decision on ERP system implementation - 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management.
Project Results
As a result of transition to the ERP system JSC Bashvtormet received:
- access to the complete information about productive activity of the enterprise in a system in electronic form (data on orders, accomplishment of the production schedule, settlement with partners, shipment of finished goods);
- streamlining of acceptance and distribution of orders in production on workshops and sections;
- improvement of planning of loading of the equipment (increase in an objemo of acceptance and processing of scrap at the same capacities for 10.8%);
- management system for the normative reference information (NRI), uniform for all divisions of the enterprise;
- simplification and acceleration of calculation of materials requirement, formation of specifications and production schedule;
- possibility of correct automatic cost accounting by each type of products;
- operational accounting of the entering raw materials and finished goods at all production phases (thanks to what the amount of materials in work in progress is reduced by 1.7 times);
- control automation by finance of the enterprise and, as a result, gain of control of a funds expenditure, exception of their inappropriate use;
- reduction of time for preparation of the regulated reporting and also these tax registers (since three-four weeks till several o'clock);
- automatic payroll.
System implementation of 1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise" allowed to arrange acceptance and distribution of orders in production on workshops and sections, to provide correct cost accounting that influenced decrease in cost value by some types of products. It became easier to calculate the salary. We received the tool for effective development of production and successful implementation of business policy of the enterprise for a long-term outlook.
