DEPO OpenCloud TM

DEPO OpenCloud TM is a private computing cloud.

On January 25, 2016 the companies "TM Operator Group" also DEPO Computers announced start in operation of a joint private computing cloud of DEPO OpenCloud TM. It is created using servers of the Russian production and the Open source software^[1].

The companies implemented development in the Moscow Lyceum of information technologies No. 1533 (LITAS) and intend to deliver this solution in organizations: schools, colleges, hospitals. As partners said, their development will help such organizations to reduce costs for infrastructure and its service.

TM Operator Group and DEPO Computers worked on the project about nine months. The solution works on the cloud operating system (OS) open source of OpenStack. Developers provided the high density of placement of virtual machines for virtualization of server applications and desktops (VDI). In an asset of our company several successful industrial installations of OpenStack. But if earlier we used distribution kits of the third firms, then now, thanks to our partners and together with them we created completely independent product capable to compete with the best western samples. DEPO Computers designed and assembled the server hardware especially for the project with OpenStack OS.
