NVision Group completed the construction of the fiber-optic communication line of GPON in Transbaikalia for Rostelecom

By request of Rostelecom the Nvision Group company completed the construction of a fiber-optical communication network (fiber-optic communication line) on GPON technology in Transbaikalia. The company provided access to the high-speed Internet, cable television and digital telephony for nearly 13 thousand households in Chita, Chernyshevsk and Nerchinsk.
The network is created by request of the Buryat branch of Rostelecom company. Based on GPON network, in addition to triple-play service package (Home phone number, House Internet, Interactive TV), the operator can also create video surveillance systems in real time, install the security fire warning and provide some other the additional services sensitive to access rate.
Construction of the fiber-optic communication line took about half a year. Specialists of NVision Group developed the project documentation and built engineering infrastructure in 11 automatic telephone exchanges, laid 70 km of the optical cable for a backbone network of data transmission and installed about 2 thousand line ports in households of Zabaykalsky Krai. The company used the equipment of domestic manufacturers: cables and the completing companies "INCAB" and "Svyazstroydetal" and also the equipment of the Novosibirsk company "Eltex".
