Optima will develop the project of integration of Talakhovsky thermal power plant into power network of the Kaliningrad region

The Optima group announced in February, 2016 a victory in tender and agreement signature on development of the design estimates on embedding of future Talakhovsky thermal power plant in power infrastructure of the Kaliningrad region around Sovetsk.

The 160 MW Talakhovsky thermal power plant should be constructed by the end of 2017. To Sovetsk the substation 330 kV Sovetsk which is the current distribution center of the electric power and Znamensk, Chernyakhovsk and 110 kV Forest connected by transmission lines with substations works. An essence of the project executed by the Optima Group consist in embedding of future thermal power plant Talakhovskaya in each of these lines. It will give the chance of TPP Talakhovskaya not only to perform generation of the electric power on substation Chernyakhovsk, Znamensk and Forest, but also to perform transit of the electric power from substation Sovetsk on these substations.

Works will be performed by structural division of Group – the Optima Energy company which implemented a set of projects on design and construction of power objects. The customer of works – JSC Yantarenergo.

The border of design begins on the entrance Talakhovskoy portal of TPP (without mentioning distributors of the thermal power plant) and Sovetsk and runs on three adjacent PS of 110 kV comes to an end on runs on PS of 330 kV.

Also the project assumes the choice of primary and secondary equipment on these lines according to new parameters of network. The total cost of works on design – about 52 million rubles.

Performance of the contract should be complete by the end of 2016.
