State structures of Altai Republic selected MTS

The MTS company announced in February, 2016 a victory in tenders for communication services provision and Internet access to the government and municipal institutions of Altai Republic. The amount of contracts in the region for 2016 exceeded 2.5 million rubles.

MTS in Altai Republic will provide with a voice communication 300 public servants, including the staff of the Government of Altai Republic. Besides, in 2016 voice services, a domestic long distance and international telecommunication and also the mobile Internet of MTS provide the following public and municipal authorities of the republic: Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service across Altai Republic, Department of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for Altai Republic, Prosecutor's office of Altai Republic, the Ministry of Economic Development and tourism of Altai Republic, the Ministry of Economic Development and tourism of Altai Republic. Special tariff programs with a set of the most demanded services — landline numbers, roaming on trips around the country and the world and also the high-speed mobile Internet at a speed up to 75 Mbps are developed for representatives of authority.

So, in 2015 we continued to develop in the region the innovation network of "fourth generation" at a speed up to 75 Mbps: started LTE network in Maym, increased 4G network capacity in Gorno-Altaysk. In a year the traffic transferred to 4G networks increased by 3.6 times" — the director of MTS in Altai Republic Leonid Tiunov emphasized.

During tender the quality of the provided services of participants, geography of a covering and the general price policy of the operator was estimated. The largest cellular operators took part in the tender, and MTS offered the most attractive cost of services together with the high level of service and the greatest range of the innovation products.
